本文简要介绍了力学与数学再次结合趋势的历史背景和现状。根据当代科学技术向力学提出的问题,简要综述了现代力学所涉及的现代数学领域和方法.

An analysis of the form and content of quadrilateral definitions composed by novice pre-service teachers

Mathematical definitions are an important mathematical construct which has been noted as a challenging topic for both teachers and students. This study provides an analysis of the form and content of a set of 308 definitions of quadrilateral types provided by 44 novice pre-service elementary teachers (NPSTs) who had not yet studied geometry or definitions on the college level. Analysis of definition structure including necessary, sufficient, and minimal conditions, as well as hierarchical and partitional structure, provides insight into what NPSTs may think about the form of mathematical definitions in general. Analysis of the properties used in definitions of each shape type and the frequency of those properties reveals the shape types with which NPSTs are most and least familiar. These results are presented alongside possible applications and implications for instruction.

鉴于洗胃液量实时在线检测与求解的困难,提出利用灰色数学的累加生成方法,把液量作为主导变量,管路二处压力差的累积压力作为二次变量,根据二者之间的一一映射关系,仿真实验研究洗胃液量的软测量技术,给出了实验结果,为液量的工程检测提供了一种数学方法.     

Generalized nets in neurology: an example of mathematical modelling

The purpose of this paper is to explain the basic theory of generalized nets (GNs) and their applications in the context of the differential diagnosis of neurological diseases. We define formally the concepts of a GN and transitions of a GN and also outline some remarks on their theory. The work here constructs an example which aims to trace the process of diagnosing different signs and symptoms in neurology. This will enable the interested reader to see the scope of nets in general as tools for the modelling, simulation, optimization and control of real processes.     

Pedagogical challenges in making mathematics relevant for Indigenous Australians

After the invasion and occupation of their land by Europeans, Indigenous Australians were expected to benefit from a Western education system based on that of the dominant Europeans. Gradually educators realized that Aboriginal children learn differently and that Indigenous culture and pedagogy has validity and strength. Of course, educators also need to be acutely aware of the diversity of Indigenous cultures in Australia and that there is not a monolithic sense of Aboriginal identity or Aboriginal pedagogy. Dispossession and alienation, poor health and few employment opportunities must also affect educational interest, attendance, application and performance. In this paper the characteristics of Indigenous learners are examined and pedagogical strategies to assist in both students' learning and teachers' delivery are explored. The message conveyed in this paper has particular relevance for teaching mathematics to Aboriginal learners. It is also of considerable value in teaching mathematics to nonAboriginal students, in Australia and elsewhere.

Valuation and risk assessment of participating life insurance in the presence of credit risk

In participating life insurance, management decisions regarding the asset composition can substantially impact the value of a policy from the policyholders’ perspective as well as the insurer’s risk situation. Due to the long-term guarantees often embedded in these contracts, life insurers typically invest a considerable portion of their capital in long-term assets such as corporate and government bonds. Besides interest rate risk, the value of these bond investments is thus particularly influenced by credit risk. Thus, the aim of this paper is to examine the impact of market risk associated with the asset composition on fair valuation and risk assessment with focus on credit risk and its interaction with equity risk and interest rate risk. Our analysis emphasizes that the consideration of credit risk associated with bonds has a strong impact on the fair valuation and risk measurement in the context of participating life insurance contracts, even in case of higher grade bond exposures.     

科技保险中项目投资损失保险投保比例优化决策

针对我国科技保险第二批推行险种--项目投资损失保险,以科技企业为研究主体,综合考虑其期望利润和科技风险(方差),构建了投保比例模型.在对武汉市迪源光电科技有限公司投保科技保险的具体案例中,运用线性不等式组的旋转算法进行求解,计算出企业在项目组合投资中如何优化各项投保比例,使其以最小的风险承担得到最大的期望利润.     

高等数学多媒体课堂教学浅议

从使用多媒体讲授高等数学的经验出发,分析高等数学教学中应用多媒体教学手段的优势,同时给出在多媒体教学条件下进一步提高教学效果的几点建议,指出教师必须用现代化的教学思想为指导,综合运用各种教学手段提高高等数学教学效果,适应现代化教学的发展.
